BCTFN undertakes a wide range of charity projects throughout Thailand. However, even with the generosity of our supporters plus the enthusiasm and commitment of our volunteers, it would be impossible to undertake every project which requests assistance from BCTFN. We would love to support all requests but realistically and regrettably it is just not possible.
BCTFN has selection procedures for requests for assistance. Each request is considered thoroughly to see if it meets the criteria for selection. The Committee of the BCTFN is the final decision-maker in this process. Please remember that we would love to support all requests, but cannot and thus must select among them. Having a selection process helps a lot but it is never easy.
The range and diversity of the projects undertaken and how resources are distributed is remarkable. Among them are the supply of drugs for a Rural Medical Aid project; buying a new ambulance; helping carers in HIV/AIDS situations; building a new work experience building; purchasing and arranging for bulk soap and hygiene products to be delivered; providing funds to keep a hospice operational; ensuring orphan children have shoes and clothes; and so on.
BCTFN really does support projects in all parts of Thailand. For specific information on some projects please go to the case-studies section.
