Eddie and the kids (Fern, Fang and GukGik) travelled all the way down to the Fair from Korat, leaving at 5 am. "It's a great day out for the kids" he said "and they wouldn't let me rest until I agreed to bring them. In fact, I didn't take much convincing because it's also an opportunity for me to meet with old Bangkok friends."
Although there are still problems with flooding, the four of them were really happy to get to Ploenchit Fair. The round trip for Eddie who drives quite fast, is just under 6 hours, most of which the kids spend sleeping. Eddie's only disappointment with the Fair this year was some of the food which he found not quite up to the usual standard. But that won't stop him returning to Patana School next year, for Ploenchit Fair 2012.
